Opening Up New Relic Spirit Slots

Once your relic is level 4 it can be promoted to the next stage. This next stage allows you to open slots on the relic to place relic spirits. These spirits add extra stats to your relic - and you!

Some slots open naturally when you upgrade your relic. But, to get a lot in a short period of time, you can try re-iding your relic. Each re-id gives your relic a random number of slots between what it naturally would have and the total a relic can have.

You can get the Wing Spirit Element (the items for re-iding) with Stone of Awakening (which you can purchase from second Otis using ToFs) from the Elemental Relic Guardian behind the Rose Queen.

Take all the current spirits out of your relic. Open your relic management skill. Put your relic in and click the Relic Transfer tab. Put the Wing Spirit Element into the other slot. Click the button to Confirm Relic Transfer. Each transfer also costs 2g40s.

As you can surmise, there seems to be room for 12 slots altogether. Through the re-iding process, this relic, which started with 2 slots, now has 7 open slots.

Each of these slots can receive a relic spirit. The slots are considered not activated until you put a spirit into them. Spirits are placed in the relic by placing the relic into the relic menu, clicking Relic Transfer tab, and placing a relic spirit that matches the shape of the slot directly into the slot. It costs nothing to put the spirits in, but will cost you trade gold to remove them.

Pet Rebirth

Pets can be re-id'd similar to gear using the dawn scroll. The scroll will give you a chance at new strengths and weaknesses for the pet, but bring the pet back to level 1. It also seems to remove all the interaction points and interaction levels that you have on the pet, so make sure that you transfer the unapplied points to pet journeys before you use the scroll.

All other upgrades are maintained; and, as you can see, you can also upgrade the pet's rating using the rebirth! I haven't checked to see if it allows you to meld if you missed the levels that you could do that, but will update here when I find that out!

You can get the dawn scroll from the boutique, randomly from daily check-in with Henry, randomly from the lucky charm boxes from Otis, randomly from Otis's pet box, randomly from completing Niachillo's quests, and randomly from shells you can fish. The shells are by far the easiest and cheapest way to get the scrolls. I put my char to fishing overnight and usually get a few from shells when I'm done.
