You get the quest from the Dark Union Contract npc in the Abyss.
He gives you two choices, the top choice is for gaining cruelty pts and the bottom one is for gaining kindness pts.
The kindness option tends to be a bit harder, but you want to pick the one that gives you the pts you need to level the Awakening side you chose. Light = kindness, Dark = cruelty.
Below is an example of one of the cruelty quests:
"Good" quests tend to be more difficult -- and sometimes nearly impossible -- in that they can pit you against formidable enemies, such as Cunning Archdemons or Cargo Carriers. "Evil" quests do not and are always simple, auto-routable quests (except for reaching the main Archdemon in the cave, which is not routable -- just route yourself to the entrance of the cave and run up two sets of steps; he's on your left). If you get stuck with a "Good" quest that you can't complete (or don't want to waste time on), abandon the quest, go back to the NPC, and choose the "Evil" quest (second/last/lower option in the list). If your Good quest was to kill the Cunning Archdemon that spawns next to the NPC, be sure to fly in so he can't attack you!
ReplyDeleteBe aware that you can only get Kindness pts from the kindness quests and you only get Evil pts from the evil quests - so if you do the quest that doesn't match what you chose for your awakening skills, your pts won't be able to be used to open your skills.
