Scavenging - Gear lv 70-74 Location

left4war in the FW forum said that you can obtain this gear killing the assassin vines in the Sleeping Jungle. I tried this out - YES! You can!

Archer Class Coming?

An apparent announcement on the Chinese server includes this picture of what looks like a new class:

Could an archer class be coming with the next expansion? :D

Ascension: The Weird, the Bad, and the Buggy

There was surprisingly little that went wrong with this expansion! But here are some things that we noticed:

• Arena is still broken
• FF has generic skins for participants again 
• LLH has water issues to the lighthouse again (there should be a portal by a palm tree on the beach)
• The medium training camp for wardens is in Chinese (just remember that this quest works off the first three attack skills you learn, try to match it to the Chinese text- good luck!)
• Lost City is pvp!!
• Dim Wars is now pvp
• I have heard that the crucible is now pvp - but that might be a rumor.
• Some pve servers had their server go pvp! Lionheart was one. (supposedly fixed with 4/12 patch)
• All Orb of Marvels have disappeared from bags and stashes :( (supposedly fixed with 4/12 patch)
• MMs are now "The water is frozen" class, lol
• Vengeance boss/quest indicators are gone
• Warden ranged skills are requiring melee range to cast
• Break the Limits quest is not completing for inheritors as it is marked as already being broken.
• Master/apprentice daily quiz quest still in Chinese.
• Chat settings and other game settings were reset on most characters.
• Wardens can't enter x-server.

 Seem broken but aren't:

• Can't get Henry quests. Check your log. This happened to me - and it was because I still had a Godlike Glory in my list :$
• Can't get things from the shared stash with your inheritor - this is intentional. You are not allowed to trade things to your inheritor.
• Can't click to move - check your settings. You need to check the box for it.
• Can't see guild chat, party chat, etc. Check your settings. Some people got their settings all messed up. For some, it was a matter of reapplying which chat should show in each tab, for others, they needed to click the "show chat in window" box.
• Warrior skill not able to activate. Check your stance. The expansion deactivated stances.
• Can't pray. Select a god. The expansion cleared god choices.
• Can't get to vengeance areas. This is intentional. Talk to the vengeance promoter to get to all vengeance areas.
• I can't use my parent character after trying to delete my new inheritor. This is intentional. These two characters are tied together. Once your inheritor is deleted fully (7 days), your other character will be released for play again.
• Can't find the wargod point and ode to guardian point npcs. The npcs for these were taken out of the marketplace, but the ones in the Hall of Glory are still there: Sabrina (otg) and Klass(wg).

Soultrance Grass Location

There is a quest in the new area that asks you to bring the npc some soultrance grass. He tells you that it's location has clues in fairy tales. ???

Having trouble with the zoom going TOO far out now? You can adjust the maximum amount that it will zoom using this setting.

Ascension - Changes to FW

There were lots of new things added to the game. I'll be posting newly added things from expansion here.

• Some of the items have new stacking amounts! (flight fuel was one of them!)
• Inheritor. 
• You can make a new character that gets automatic upgrades tied to the ones that you have and/or complete on your parent character. 
• You cannot trade or give some things to the inheritor. Some of these things are obtained via the parent/inheritance.
• New area with new quests: EverNight and EverLight. 
• Each area is base on the awakening tracks.
• Daily quest for 800 awakening pts
• New quests for dedication.
• Some raids are no longer giving adamantine coins :(
• New Warden class. 
• High dps, heals, and a revive O.O
• Warden class doesn't have to use skill scrolls, skills are learnable with leveling.
• Instances with fusion mats give MORE MATS!! (I was getting 7 white mushrooms from ToK!)
• New instance added to the expert grouping: Bonegnasher Nest.
• Dan (of Run Boy Run fame) has bonus mastery and resistance for you based on the amount you have already added. This is an ongoing thing, so you will open up new bonuses as you add more pts.
• Same account stash
• This is a new stash area that is shared by all the characters on the same account and is only for unbound items. 
• I have found that items not normally tradeable can go in - and can be pulled out by the other chars. It just has to be an item that does not say it is bound. 
• You can use bank ext to open up more space. 1 ext = 3 spaces. Hint - use the bound ext on your chars on your account to open this - any character on the account can add spaces!
• Progress chart
• You can see where you are at in your progress in relation to a set amount based on your level.
• Located in the C menu.
• New login reward - Beehive daily
• Each click moves the bee one space in a random direction
• Among the possible rewards are soul gold, amethyst crystals, level 3 gems, and anima tokens
• Garderobe dying
• Uses mysterious dye
• You can dye an entire group of fashion at once to be the same color - no more hoping for a match!
• Must use the vengeance promoters to access the vengeance ares once more
• Eclipse Hollow and Sea of Oblivion are now open for questing again! (you can still access the vengeance portion via the Vengeance Promoter).
• Extra zoom out capabilities!
